✨Soft Life Staples: My Non-Negotiables for Feeling Good Every Day

✨ Soft Life Staples: My Non-Negotiables for Feeling Good Every Day

Let’s be honest—“soft life” is having a moment.
But for me? It’s more than a trend or a TikTok aesthetic.
It’s a lifestyle I’ve fought hard to create—and a vibe I intentionally protect

The truth is, I wasn’t always in this space. I came out of a hustle season (hi, MBA life), moved 1,000 miles away from family and core friends, and had to rebuild my routines, my support systems, and honestly, my sense of self.

So now? I don’t take peace lightly. I lean into it—with deep breaths, cozy sets, flavored hydration, and the full acceptance that I am a soft girl who still gets things done

Here’s what makes me feel grounded, good, and glowing every single day—no matter what the calendar looks like.

🧘🏽‍♀️ Ritual Over Routine

Soft life isn’t about being lazy—it’s about intentional living

Yes, I move my body regularly (Pilates 2x a week, plus home sessions or Peloton), but I also journal, stretch, take my supplements, and sip my Liquid I.V. out of whatever Stanley or Owala cup I’m currently obsessing over. Mango if I’m feeling tropical. Passionfruit if I’m romanticizing my emails.

The goal isn’t to hit a checklist—it’s to support my nervous system and honor what I need that day. Some mornings, I meditate. Others, I deep condition and play R&B classics like I’m the main character. Both are valid.

🧴 Feel-Good Favorites (That Are Basically Part of My Personality Now)

Here are a few things I refuse to gatekeep, because they’ve become staples in my daily softness:

  • Alo & Lululemon: Because the second I slip into buttery-soft leggings or a cropped half-zip, I’m a woman with her life together—even if I just folded laundry and answered one email.

  • Briogeo Curl Charisma Line: Curls are bouncing, scalp is singing, confidence is on ten.

  • Lawless Lip Gloss in Rosy Outlook: She’s cute, non-sticky, and a full vibe.

  • Vitruvi Diffuser: With lavender, eucalyptus, or citrus depending on my mood. Sets the tone every time

  • Lemme Purr & Lemme Chill Gummies: Do they work? Yes. Do I like saying “lemme purr” out loud at the vitamin drawer? Also yes.

  • Hilma “Trust Your Gut” Tonic + Pressed Juicery Shots: For those days when my gut is acting up because I refused to say no to garlic (oops).

  • Kennedy Ryan Books: Currently in my feels with Before I Let Go. If you know, you know.

  • Target Runs: They're not just errands—they’re therapeutic excursions. I will romanticize a $5 candle and seasonal dish towel every time.

  • Bi-weekly therapy: Because soft doesn’t mean avoidant. Processing my life is part of the glow-up.

💻 Soft Life Meets Corporate Life

I still work in a demanding corporate role.
I still navigate deliverables, deadlines, and the occasional “circle back” email that really could’ve been a Slack.
But I’ve learned that showing up as my best self means protecting my energy like it’s my full-time job, too.

I take breaks. I log off on time (sometimes lol). I make playlists for my work sprints and sip chlorophyll water like it’s a reward system. I don't let pressure override presence.

And yes, I’m still navigating a long-distance relationship. Still staying in touch with my people 1,000 miles away. Still learning how to hold peace in a life that’s full of motion.

The soft life doesn’t mean my days are easy.
It just means I choose to soften how I move through them.

💡 What Soft Life Really Means to Me

It’s not just bubble baths and beiges (though I do love both).
It’s…

  • Creating boundaries that protect my time and peace

  • Choosing routines that regulate, not restrict

  • Finding pleasure in small things (the glow of fresh skincare, the flip of a new book, the vibe of a clean kitchen)

  • Giving myself grace on the days when nothing gets done

  • Feeling empowered to slow down, even if I could speed up

The soft life is earned. It’s layered. It’s healing. And it looks different for every woman.
But for me, it’s about feeling safe in my body, calm in my home, and connected to the people and practices that keep me grounded.
